The final countdown for 2020 ADS-B Out mandate compliance has begun. But, December 31, 2019 isn’t the most important date, it’s June 2019. In most cases, if you don’t have your plane scheduled for upgrades by July, you won’t get in before the deadline. Unless you are willing to pay a hefty premium.

But if you buy now, Honeywell has affordable "fly-away" pricing for operators with Primus Radios.

Honeywell is offering two upgrade paths for operators needing ADS-B Out on their Primus II Radio-equipped aircraft.

1. For aircraft with RM-855 Radio Management Units installed. ADS-B Out upgrade is a convenient software load with minimal hardware and wiring changes required. Upgrades may be scheduled through authorized Honeywell Dealer.

2. Aircraft equipped with RM-850 Radio Management Units must purchase new RM-855 units.
However, for these Aircraft, Honeywell has created incentives to help you get your aircraft in compliance with the ADS-B mandate requirements at a price you can afford.

Aircraft that may still be equipped with RM-850 are:

• Challenger 601 series
• Citation II (Model 550),
• Citation III / VI / VII (Model 650)
• Citation V, Ultra, Encore, Excel (Model 560 /5 60XL)
• Hawker 700 / 800 / 800XP / 1000
